Currently working at ALICE by Actabl, a B2B Hospitality Tech SaaS company, my focus has been on creating product design solutions for the needs of hoteliers – including Concierges, Front Desk Agents, Engineers, and General Managers – since November 2020.

To me, a product designer's primary role is straightforward: improving the lives of our users, and *knowing that I can do this every day is magical*. Beyond this, I believe it is critical that designers recognize the importance of considering business goals and technology in their work, as this helps us to design solutions that align strategic objectives with technological feasibility.

I started my design journey at Esdi – Superior School of Design, Rio de Janeiro State University, back in 2009, eventually earning my degree in 2014. During my time at university, and eager to expand my horizons, I pursued an academic exchange opportunity in 2013, which led me to Halifax, Canada, where I studied at NSCAD – Nova Scotia College of Arts and Design for a year and a half.

Over the past 12 years, I've navigated through different cultures and borders, sharing my expertise with different companies, from Brazil and the United States to Canada, and experiences with organizations like Jair de Souza Design, 19 Design, Cravo Ofício, The Coast, Co&Co, Monocromo, and a+a design. Because of this, I had the chance to work on a wide range of projects and design disciplines, such as web design, graphic design, branding, identity design, and exhibition design. I think this journey is really essential in shaping my professional growth and somehow made me get to what really brings me the most joy, which are product design and design ops.
